Chapter Eight

>> Wednesday, March 25, 2009

The room was shrouded in darkness when Jon woke hours later. He stretched and rolled but over expecting to find his bed-mate but the bed was empty, again. Did she ever sleep? He glanced over at the clock which read that it was just after three am. Well she can’t be up going to collect glass, Jesus. He flipped the covers off and swung his legs over the bed. Throwing on his jeans, he padded into the living area which was illuminated by the soft glow of the lamp in the corner. No Colby.

“Colby?” he croaked. But no reply came. The faint sound of whirring alerted him as he padded heavily to the staircase. She was in her studio, god damn at this hour? He chuckled making his way down the stairs quietly. He couldn’t talk he was often known to take to his studio in the middle of the night. He navigated the stairs slowly stretching his arms up over his head popping his back as he went. He needed more sleep, he was a mess. But the curiosity of what she was doing had him hooked.

The soft croon of Jazz met him at the doorway so he leaned back against the wood. There she stood at her potter’s wheel crafting with her hands. Oblivious to him, she was in another whole world lost in her art, creating.

Her hands glided across the clay as she spun, pulling it into shape. Jon stood and took her all in, her messy wavy locks were pulled back in a loose ponytail matched with a clay stained t-shirt with the blue faded writing of the LA Lakers blazing across her chest. She wiped her cheek quickly with the back of her hand, Jon couldn’t help but chuckle to himself as she left a big smear of clay over her cheek. But she didn’t care. She was pulling the clay up with both hands as it spun and then pushed it down, creating the hole in the middle. With the palms of her hands on the underside she coaxed it out, and incredibly the lump of nothing was now blooming into a circular shape. What looked so effortless he knew wasn’t.

His thoughts waved away from her craft and to her. What made this girl the way she was? He hardly knew anything about her. Such a free spirit, almost a loner. In the two days he’d been with her he hadn’t heard of anyone coming to see her, calling her. Around her apartment there were no signs of family. Well from what was clear from the deluge.

Yet here she was, beautiful, talented and alone from what Jon could work out. There had to be more to her than just this. Jon almost felt jealous towards her. Not a care in the world and free doing what she loved most, no baggage. She was lucky. He could learn a thing or two from this woman.

The clang of metal made him snap back into reality; she’d finished the bowl and moved over to the steel basin in the corner, scrubbing her hands vigorously. She puffed her cheeks and blew out a sigh. Jon crept backwards into the darkness the hallway offered. He turned and walked back up the stairs crawling back into bed. Tugging the sheet around him he rolled over and closed his eyes. He needed to get the next four hours, he knew he did.

~

Colby worked till around six and then dove into the shower washing the night’s work right off her. She figured she’d grab them some breakfast and wake Jon up before he was due to go back to filming and then go rollerblading and take a nap.

She pulled on her jeans and a black v-neck sweater and left her damp hair loose, falling in ringlets around her shoulders. Grabbing her keys and purse she headed out to the bakery and collecting some breakfast.

“Ah Miss Colby.” Zelda winked shaking a brown paper bag open and grabbing the tongs.

“I assume we’re having breakfast for two?” She asked with a wink and a knowing grin.

Colby smiled, “yeah, you better maker it enough for two again.”

“Have fun last night? He seems like a nice man,” she popped four croissants into the bag before starting on the coffees.

“Yeah, he is a nice man.” With a bit of baggage but who doesn’t have baggage these days?

“Are you seeing him again after today?” Zelda asked.

“I don’t know, probably he’s a lot of fun.”

“You like him don’t you Miss Colby, you like him a lot.”

She pulled out some bills she’d stuffed in her pocket and handed them over to her.

“Don’t be ridiculous Z, a guy like him is not for a girl like me.”

“Defensive are we?” Zelda asked snapping the lids on the coffees.

Colby rolled her eyes “Come on, now you know me Z.”

“Yes I do, and in all the three years or so you’ve been coming in here he’s the first man you’ve really spoken of,” Zelda stated crossing her arms.

“Don’t be silly, you’ve just met him that’s all. I just haven’t cared all that much for relationships it’s not a crime. And this isn’t a relationship. We’re just having some fun for a bit” she reaffirmed scooping up the bag and tray. But Zelda shook her head.

“If you say so Miss Colby.”

Colby laughed and left again. There had been other guys. She just chose not to carry on any relationships with them. She’d never had the time with her work anyway. And besides they’d always get so clingy, ick.

She crept back into her apartment and laid down the breakfast. A soft snore was rumbling from the bedroom so she snuck in and sat on the end of the bed. The sheet was draped across his belly and he was arm twisted half over into the pillow.

“Jon,” she slid her lips over the splattering of freckles on his shoulder up to the base of his neck, but still he didn’t move. “Jonnn,” she whispered her teeth scraping up over his Adam’s apple. He still smelt like the club with a hint of his spicy cologne but he remained still. “Good lord you’re a heavy sleeper huh?” She looked away for a second before squealing when a pair of arms wrapped around her waist by surprise and pulled her down.

“Holy shit!” She giggled as he rolled on top of her, his sleepy blue eyes squinting against the morning light.

“You’re shit, did you know that?” she teased rubbing her hands flat down his arms, across his biceps as he dipped in to give her a lingering kiss on the lips.

The smirk spread across his face “My specialty is being a shit.” He pushed back her hair dropping a kiss on her forehead. She smelt like the sweet mint he was getting used to.

“So do you ever sleep?” he asked.

She chuckled, “miss me huh?”

“A little,” he admitted.

“Aw, that’s sweet. I worked half the night. I got inspired. It happens all the time at random times. Who knows maybe you inspired it?” She rubbed her hand along his spine.

Jon’s laugh rumbled in his throat, “Maybe, can I smell coffee?” he asked hopefully sniffing the air.

“Of course, I got us some breakfast figuring you’d need a good start to the day” she rolled off him and stood up from the bed.

He sat up and stretched his arms up above his head hearing the bones click “You are an Angel,” he yawned and moved to his side of the bed, shucking on his jeans and padding into the living room with her.

“More pastries! You’ll have me doing double time in the gym. I haven’t been for two days either” he said patting his stomach. “Which is again your fault,” he inspected the contents of the bag.

“Oh please, it’s flat as a pancake. If I can eat this and not put on any weight you can too,” she slumped into her chair with the latte in hand.

Jon sat on the couch and took a bite of the buttery goodness “Roller blades huh?” noticing they were laid out on the floor, laces strewn ready to go.

“Yeah, that’s how I keep fit” she said popping the lid and licking the foam from the underside.

Jon leaned back and crossed his legs in the chair. “So what do you say you meet me after work tonight? There’s a nice Spanish restaurant near the studio.”

She shrugged as she took a bite from her croissant “Sure why not” she didn’t have much else planned for the day in-between work.

Jon pulled his cell phone out from his pocket and flipped it open “What’s your cell number? In case I run late or something” he said punching the keys with her name.

“I don’t have one” she replied with a chuckle as his face dropped. “What? I’ve never really needed one” it was true. She just hadn’t had the use for one.

“You run a business and you don’t have a cell phone? Jesus, OK what’s your home number here then?” he asked dumbfounded. Most days, more so at home his cell was glued to him. He punched in her number as she reeled it off. Snapping it shut he looked around “I noticed that you were using ledgers for your orders. Please tell me you use a PC or laptop to store your files on.”

“Nope, no cell phones and no computers. It’s fine. I’m doing alright without them, really.” She’d given thought to a laptop but just hadn’t got around to it.

“You do know how to use them right?” he asked with an impish grin.

Her frown deepened before he took cover when a cushion hurled his way across the room. “Ok. Ok, just checking….” He stood up and dusted his jeans off. “I just thought it might help, you’ve got a shit load of talent here and you could make a lot of money.”

She cocked her hand on her hip. “Who says I’m not making money now?” She gave him a sly grin, sure she made enough to get buy from her more traditional glass pieces, but it wasn’t what really made her the money at all.

“I didn’t, I just thought – “ her grin had changed to a smirk, one he was beginning to know very well when it came to her.

“Ok, what is that look for? And why don’t I trust you?”

She moved across the room to him, and hooked her arms around his waist pulling him towards her. Her lips teased his bottom lip, Christ his fuller bottom lip did things to her that weren’t natural.

“Why don’t you trust me?” her fingers slid up the sides of his arms to his neck as his eyes followed her every move.

She cupped his cheeks in her hands and scraped her thumbs across his jawline. “When you first started music, was music enough to get you buy or did you have to do something else to get buy until you made it?”

Her lips hovered about his, fuck he was hard as a rock already. What the hell was she playing at now? His thumbs hooked into her jeans tugging her closer but still she kept her lips out of reach.

“Yeah – of course. I had part time jobs at first… why?” God, where this was going he had no idea.

“Right, so maybe I do something on the side…” Her eyebrow cocked as she licked her lips.

He swallowed hard, no fucking way. She wasn’t? “You’re not?”

She chuckled now pressing her lips against his but not to kiss, but to speak. “No, I’m not…but I do make things… naughty things….” Her tongue edged along his upper lip. “Glass things.”

His eyebrow winged as his eyes popped. “You do huh?” Good fuck, of course she did.

“Can I see?”

She winked and withdrew herself away from him and checked her watch. “You’re going to be late, you better go. Where am I meeting you again?”

He wasn’t going to do it, fall under that damn spell again.. no no no. He could do this. Just walk away… leave her hanging you pussy. That would make a change wouldn’t it?

“Ciagala about eight, I’ll call you here if I run late with good warning.” He swallowed hard and jammed down craving he had to take her right then and there.

“Sound’s great, I know the one in Russell Square right? Well I need to get moving before it gets busy out there, Makes it like a dodgem track with too many people around,” she moved from the chair and grabbed her roller blades.

He laughed. She was intriguing, no one could ever argue with that. She went from hot to casual in seconds. And it drove him nuts.

“C’mon then, let me walk you out.” He gave her a grin as her eyes sparkled. What the hell did she make? Was she going to show him? Great, now guess what you’re going to think about asshole? All damn day. Just perfect.

Chapter Seven

>> Thursday, March 12, 2009

Colby pulled him in close by the lapels of his shirt and swayed her body against his, grinding her belly into him until she felt his groin pressing against her. Her hands slipped under his coat and around to the back of his silk shirt.

“Forget about her Jon, come play with me,” she whispered into his mouth letting her tongue glide across his bottom lip.

He groaned as his hands slid down, cupping her ass as she swayed under him. The taste of tequila was on her lips laced with citrus and beer. “I want you,” he moaned, his voice fell low and his eyes closed as he lost herself in her heat. He could feel her nipples pressing into the silk of his shirt through the flimsy material of her dress made him hard in seconds. His mouth grazed across her shoulders as he dipped in the hollow of her neck to taste.

Her hands ran further up his back as she titled her head back “Have me then. Right here Jon.” He snapped his head up to catch her gaze. What in the hell? There was nothing innocent about her as her eyes darkened, she was fucking serious. And fuck if anything was going to stop him.

Her fingers weaved through his cropped hair and she crashed her lips down on his. The heat and desire burning in her body for him, she wrote off to just the moment. She wanted him to take her here, she wanted him to let go.

The sea of people all faded away and the only thing left in focus was her... rubbing her body against his. His erection pressed further into her belly. The Sultry beats of the song dragged him further into the want that was starting to consume him. She tugged him away from the people, into a dim corner away from the strobe lighting that sliced across the floor. His head fell to her lips pushing her hard into the corner. She lifted her leg and slid it up and down the outside of his thigh, her hands slid to his buckle and looped the belt open before sliding down his zip.

“God damn you,” he groaned into her mouth. He was throbbing for her, the blood in his head had long rushed to the other into his pants.

“Come on you love it, the thrill... the risk of getting caught. The thought of people watching, you know you love it.” She nibbled on his lobe. Her hands sliding further up his shaft grazing her nails across the underside of him. “You want to wait...you want to...but you can’t... can you Jon?” she grinded her hips forward against him, “I don’t want you to wait...I’m ready for you now.”

“Colby” he buried his moan in her neck. Again he’d fallen under the influence of her. She had his cock in her hands and there were dozens of people around for fuck’s sake. His hands on her thighs shifted the flimsy fabric north leaving his fingers to explore her skin. Keeping her concealed with his own body he hooked his finger through the lace of her underwear. The snap took her by surprise as he ripped the thin lace pulling it from her and tucking it in his back pocket.

“I can’t believe you just did that,” her heart pounded in her chest as he hoisted her leg over his waist and slid comfortably into her. “Oh god,” she titled her head back flattening her back as far against the wall as she could. Her body shook once with the force of orgasm taking her completely by surprise.

“Like that huh?” the tingling in his veins that he had back the control started to creep back in. She was falling limp against his body. He started to rock his hips in time to the music which had changed to a racy dance track. The smoky haze of the club wrapped around them and no one was any the wiser as to what they were doing.

“Jon” she gasped, each thrust became stronger, bolder and more urgent.
She wasn’t sure if the dizziness she was experiencing was from the tequila or him. Her hands gripped onto his shoulders and she met each thrust with the arch of her body.

His thumb fell under the fabric and found her tight knot, he flicked it from side to side sending her into frenzy. The music faded and the lights blended as the release burst through her. Her nails dug in and her thighs clenched as her moans were lost in the sounds of the club.

He let himself go. Fire roared through him sending him spilling deep inside of her. “Jesus Christ,” He panted against her trying discretely to recompose himself. His forehead was slick with sweat; she wiped it dry with the side of her hand.

“All better?” she asked quietly. It’d been for him, but holy crap if that wasn’t something she hadn’t experienced in awhile, the adrenaline, but worse… the want.

He shifted her dress back down, and quickly adjusted his jeans and belt. His brain was still buzzing, he looked around and sure as shit no one had given them a second look. Well fuck.

She squeezed herself from the corner and straightened herself “I’m just going to go and take care of a few needs, and clean up. You order us some drinks and I’m a little hungry, can you get something to nibble on.” she said clutching her purse disappearing to the ladies.

Jon couldn’t help but grin as she walked away, he took up residence at the bar sliding onto a stool and ordering two beers and a platter of bar snacks. He was hungry, but he was also starting to feel the effects of the day catching up with him. He paid the bar tender and rubbed his eyes, stifling a yawn.

“I just want to eat then we’ll head off,” he was jolted back to consciousness with a slap on his back.

“I’m fine, really. Come here.” He scooped her onto his lap letting her swing her legs over the side of his knees. He pressed a light kiss to her lips. “You’re amazing Colby Henderson,” he tucked a stray strand of her hair away from where it was caught in her earring.

“You’re not too bad yourself,” she traced her pinkie just below his eyes. He was tired, the black rings were slowly digging in. The sadness in his eyes also became more obvious to her at that moment. She wanted to be the one to take it away for him. Let him live, get back to himself for awhile.

The smile he forced didn’t quite reach his eyes “Thank you,” was all he said. In just two days this woman seemed to have an effect on him that he couldn’t explain. The kind that had him wondering every time they parted, when would be able to see her again. She was so different than his ex. She was so easy and so...casual.
Comfortable.

They ate the bar snacks in a comfortable silence looking across the bar every so often pointing people out. Colby dipped a fry into ketchup before popping it into her mouth. “So do you want to talk about it?” she asked softly.

Jon raised his eyebrow and then shook his head “Ah. No it’s fine... I’m ok. You don’t need to hear it all,” he said beating her to the next fry on the plate.

“Hey!” she swiped him playfully. “Well if you ever do, I’m a good listener,” she swirled it around in the sauce before licking it off and taking a bite.

“Thanks, I appreciate that. But you don’t need to worry about me,” he flicked his gaze away. His thumb circled the top of his beer as he fell into thought.

She shook her head, typical man. “Come on then. Let’s get us home, I’m kind of beat too” she said hooking her arm through his. “Oh... and you owe me a pair of panties by the way,” she whispered as they exited the club.

He snorted, “Well that can be arranged, do I get to pick them out?” He asked as they fell into step on the sidewalk.

“Isn’t a surprise better?” she asked her lips curling into a smirk.

He rolled his eyes “Depends on who’s being surprised I suppose”.

Once home she locked up the downstairs area before joining Jon upstairs. He’d already stripped off and crawled in between her sheets.

She toed off her heels and plucked off her jewellery letting it fall in a pile on her dresser before lifting her dress off and sliding into bed next to him. She rolled on top of him, his hands sliding down to her lower back holding her close to him. “Sleep,” she whispered kissing the top of his head and then his nose. His eyes hooded, watching her and then they closed. She lay there for a few minutes watching him sleep, and waited till his breathing evened out.

Rolling off him she rolled over and closed her eyes, a few hours work wouldn’t hurt then she’d grab some sleep. Jon needed some rest, it was obvious he wasn’t sleeping as well as he should be right now. She slipped into her overalls and headed back downstairs with a small smile playing on her lips.

Chapter Six

>> Monday, March 2, 2009

They walked back to her loft but instead of going up the stairs she led Jon to the door at the back of the foyer, her studio. With a flick of a switch the room flooded with light. Jon placed the glass he'd been carrying for her carefully down on the table. He dusted off his jeans and looked around. The work area was spacious, with glass sheets strewn across the room. Tools sat in a tangled heap on the big old work benches that centered the room. Only one table nestled in the corner wasn’t a mess. On it were displayed a selection of finished glass and pottery pieces.

”Welcome to my life,” she said opening her arms, "which I will have to get to work on very shortly. I have some orders due tomorrow".

"That's ok, I need to get back to the apartment ,have a shower and be on set within the hour," he said checking the large silver watch face on his wrist, "But this is great, a real artists creative outlet huh? Complete with mess," he chuckled.

"Hey, I still know where everything is!" She walked over the drying rack along the back wall where her pottery was all stacked. She was still new to this but the work she'd completed so far seemed to be doing ok. "I've just started doing some pottery, what do you think?" she asked handing him a large water jug.

It was heavier than he expected but the craftsmanship was far from amateurish, the sides were smooth, the spout molded perfectly and the jug's outer walls were ribbed evenly. "Colby, this is really good. Will you paint it?" he asked the natural dark tan color of the clay doing nothing for him.

"Thanks and yeah..." she picked up a bowl that was slightly off balance and sighed.

"That one I will paint, maybe bright blue."

"You're a talented girl" he said giving her a lascivious grin with a wiggle of his eyebrows, that suggested that her talents extended a little more past pottery making and glass blowing.

"Men!” She rolled her eyes, “and yes I like doing it. What's even better is, it's my passion, so I'm very lucky. You'd know all about that I assume," she said taking the jug from him and balancing it back on the shelf.

Jon stood back and scratched the back of his head "So, you want me to come over tonight right? We should finish shooting around eight I think.”

"Sure, I'll work this morning probably sleep a bit this afternoon and then work again, so eight suits me. We'll go out to dinner and then maybe, if you're a good boy I'll give you another, what the British tend to call a, ‘good rodgering’, when we get home."

Jon snickered and waved his finger at her. "We're really going to have to do something about this – you calling all the shots," he scooped her close to him and teased a light kiss over her lips. The taste of coffee and mint blended in his mouth along with her distinct smell. One he knew would haunt him for the rest of the day.

"I'm letting you away with it for now, but be warned in the future it won't always go that way?"

Colby laughed and wound her arms around his neck. "I'm pretty sure I could make you come around, I'm pretty convincing." She swiped her tongue under his upper lip before her eyes met his. His eyes flashed from blue to black momentarily.

"Well it's going to make things very interesting Miss Henderson," he kissed her again backing her slowly against the wall, his knee jamming between her legs to pin her there. His lips fell to her neck and went lower lavishing kisses as he went.

Jesus Christ. "Jon..." she breathed clutching his head with her hand. He pulled away and let her stand. "Until tonight," he said as he spun around and left her standing in the studio in shock. He'd done it. Reversed it and took the control away from her.

Her mouth twitched into a small smile. Well hell, it appeared the next few months held some promise. As soon as his ass had disappeared through the door, it clicking shut behind him, she made her way upstairs. Her skin was tingling, the feel of his soft, warm hands still fresh on her body, the imprint his moist lips blazing on her neck as she headed into the shower to start her day in earnest.

~

Jon sat in his dressing room four hours later. He'd retreated for lunch and fuck if his eyelids weren't as heavy as sand sacks. The morning had progressed well with minimum takes, but he was fading...and he still had a long day of filming ahead. He flipped open his cell phone and listened to his messages, smiling and rolling his eyes at a message of berating banter from his band mate Richie. All through the bitterness and upheaval of his life, some things had remained constant. One of things was the loyalty and support of his best friend.

He snapped his cell phone shut and rubbed his eyes with the back of his hands. Look at yourself, exhausted after one night with a woman. He chuckled to himself while spinning around in his chair, but she wasn't like most women he'd met. She was the almost a guy's dream - casual and no strings. She'd made that intention clear from the start. And who was he to say no to that? She was generally a fun person from what he'd seen but still, he really didn't know all that much about her. Maybe it was best to keep it at that level. After all hadn’t he been trying to avoid that all this time... a relationship.

His marriage with Dorothea had started off like a fairytale, and through the different eras of his career they'd had the usual hiccups. His lifestyle she generally dealt with. He had never been a saint yet still she'd forgiven him and they'd always managed to carry on. Until recently that is, and now he was just sick of pretending. Sick of the lies.

He had an hour until make-up call, so he kicked off his shoes and flopped down on the bed, stretching the dull ache from his back. He felt like he'd run a marathon last night. Jesus one night of hard sex and you're toast. Closing his eyes, he tried to block out the world for a bit and relax, but as usual his was a mind that never rested.

He flicked back to the intriguing woman that had come into his life. Her bubbly and infectious laughter, not to mention her killer lips and what she could do with them. His cock twitched and then ached at the thought of her going down on him. Explosive blowjobs, fuck yeah. His hand rested on the denim at his crotch and he managed a small snort to himself, usually a quick jack off would lull him into a quick sleep but well fuck. He just didn’t have anything left. Besides the promise of the night's activities already had him wanting to savor any rest he could get.

The next thing he knew there was a sharp loud rapping on his trailer door, he sat up and cracked an eye open. He'd fallen asleep and was overdue to makeup. Shit, he scrambled from the bed and toed on his boots, shrugged on his jacket and flew out the door. Making a beeline for the coffee-cart he made it to make-up and was on set in time for the rest of his day of filming.

~

Colby wiped her brow and adjusted the safety goggles on her face as the bright flare of glass burned at the end of her rod, she plucked at the fiery blob with her pick trying to shape it into the cat that she'd promised the next door neighbour's daughter for her birthday. She always liked to finish off with something a little more creative. Having made a dozen vases and bowls for a bulk order due out later in the week she was happy to be done with generic stuff for the day.

Jon stood in the doorway, she hadn't heard him come in, it was a little after eight and he could hear the fusing sounds coming from her studio along with the blaring of U2's Bloody Sunday. Sneaking a little further into the room he leaned himself against a piece of unadorned wall and crossed his arms grinning. She was deep in her work, tossing around like a bright orange glob on the end of a tool which resembled a long steel pole, and using over-sized tweezers to pinch it into shape.

Her hair was all pulled back in a rough birds nest, and she was wearing oversized overalls that looked at least two sizes too big for her, and work boots. A tight white t-shirt peaked beneath the khaki colored overalls, the flicker of bright lime came from her neck that was lined in chunky glass beads.

He watched, fascinated at how she made an indiscriminate blob of hot glass become a little what looked like a cat figurine in just minutes. "That's incredible". She shot her head up and pulled her goggles on her head.

"Well... looky here...it’s the actor. All done for the day, huh?" she cocked her hand on her hip and popped the top of her overalls so the front part fell down, leaving just the tight white ribbed t-shirt underneath. Jon gulped, noticing her nipples straining hard against the material.

"Yes... all done for today. Well work is anyway." He said making himself meet her eyes. It's not right that she's this sexy just like that. Get a fucking grip of yourself.

She flicked off some switches and tonged the glass onto the cooling plate before walking towards him. She admired the charcoal wide collared shirt he was wearing under his leather jacket, the dullness of the color brought out his eyes. The tight dark jeans fitted nicely across his thighs and ran down to his battered boots.

"So?" She asked coyly rubbing herself against him, "are we ready to do something fun tonight?" she let her knee run up his inner leg as she licked her lips keeping her eyes on his.

The denim in his jeans had already tightened for fuck's sake and he'd been here a whole ten minutes. The scruffy look of her should have turned him off, but instead he had already eyed up the large empty wooden table in the corner for a possible angle. "Of course I am" he leaned in and dropped a kiss on her lips before letting his tongue slide inside. Looping around hers they tangled their arms around each other.

She let herself melt into him, he smelled freshly showered, and of warm spice. Her spine tingled at the calloused finger-tips on the back of her neck. "Well, I need to go and have a shower so make yourself at home" she pulled away leaving him leaning into air before she disappeared up the stairs.

"Colby" he groaned. God damn it, she'd done it again. How did he keep falling for that? He followed her up the stairs where the sound of running water echoes from the bathroom. He walked around the apartment, there was always something to look at, and it fascinated him how she could live in such an organized mess.

Her ledger was wide open on the table with figures scrawled in pencil. She did all her finances in a book? Who the fuck did that these days? Now that he thought of it, he didn’t remember seeing a computer or fancy technology to aid her work at all. He scratched his head and wondered how the hell someone lived like this when trying to run their own business.

Colby showered quickly and drying herself with a fluffy white towel. She remembered this time to moisturize herself, smearing on some body butter and polishing her face with some facial cream. What to wear, that was the next thing. She'd planned to take Jon to Firestorm, a popular nightclub in walking distance from where she lived. She pulled on a blood red A- line dress that fell just about her knees. Slipped into some matching strappy sandals and swept her hair up into a messy up-do. Plucking out a pair of silver metallic bead earrings she fastened them in her ear lobes. Perfect.

Jon sat on the couch he rubbed his temples, god he was tired. Filming had been taking a lot of out him, not to mention a certain fiery woman. Get hard, Jesus Christ. The click of heels made him look up and nearly shrink back into the couch. Holy fuck.

The sexy red dress didn't just show off her perfectly sculptured legs. The plunging v-neck line showed a generous amount of cleavage, causing him to swallow hard. She looked fresh and sexy. He stood and patted his jeans down, praying the day’s fifth erection caused by her couldn't be seen. "You look fucking incredible ".

"Glad you think so, that's one point in your favor for the night so far," she winked grabbing her clutch purse. "Ready to go? We can grab a bar snack at the club if it's ok by you?"

"Of course, I ate on set so I'm not overly hungry." He held out his arm for her as she slipped her keys into her purse and linked his arm. She not only looked good, she smelt it. Sweet like Spring Mint and something else he quite couldn't pick.

They enjoyed the short walk to the club which was already packed but as soon as they saw Jon, they ushered him in with Colby at his side avoiding the queues. "Now I know why you wanted to come here, you just wanted the VIP treatment didn't you? I feel used," he whispered against her ear.

She turned and ran her hands across his top "You'll feel more used by the time I'm done with you handsome," she ran her hands down the silk shirt resting her hands at the buckle of his jeans. He groaned and gritted his teeth "Colby, what did I say about that?"

She giggled lightly "Come on grumpy let's get a drink." She pulled him to the bar and ordered a round of tequila shooters and a couple of beers.

"Tequila?" his eyebrow arched. She just didn't stop. Fuck me.

"Uh huh," she licked her hand and sprinkled some salt on her hand before she threw back one and completed the ritual with the salt and lemon. "Your turn" she grinned.
